Five signs your office network needs attention

A good office network is one you never think about. When it starts making itself known, it is telling you something.
1. Wi-Fi drops in the same places every day. Coverage gaps and signal interference are fixable with a proper survey and better placement of access points.
2. File transfers crawl. Old switches, the wrong grade of cabling and overloaded links all slow things down.
3. Outages with no obvious cause. Without monitoring you are guessing. Continuous monitoring turns "the internet is down" into a clear, specific alert you can act on.
4. Everyone shares one password. A flat network with no separation means one infected laptop becomes everyone's problem.
5. Nobody owns it. Networks drift when there is no maintenance schedule and no named contact.
If two or more of these sound familiar, a short assessment usually pays for itself. Contact IDS and we will arrange one.
